Review
It had been a while since I’d read a book by Sheila O’Flanagan, but I’m glad I picked up a copy of The Missing Wife – I loved it!

The story begins with Imogen leaving her husband Vince, after a business trip to Paris. The plot sounded intriguing to me right away, why did Imogen leave without telling anyone where she’s going? And what will happen if Vince finds her?

It only takes a few chapters to understand why Imogen ran away. Vince is controlling, possessive and angry. I’m glad Imogen found the courage to get away from him and I loved when she realizes she’s much stronger than she thought.

Another thing I enjoyed about this book is the setting: the beautiful and peaceful Basque country in France. It’s exactly what Imogen needs to sort out her life. Also, I always love reading about France. I’ve been there a few times and this book makes me want to go back soon.

The Missing Wife is a moving story, well paced and the perfect summer read. I definitely recommend it!
