Review
Sharon Bolton is one of my favourite authors and every time I pick up one of her books it’s even better than the last one. All of her books are so well written and full of twists and turns. Dead Woman Walking is no exception – I absolutely loved it.

One of the things that I enjoyed most about this book is the intense opening chapters. A group of people on a hot air balloon witness something they shouldn’t have and the balloon crashes. Jessica is the only survivor and she finds herself in a dangerous situation. I thought that was a unique way to start the book and it had me on the edge of my seat right away.

Bolton is a great storyteller and I love that her characters are always so well developed. I could relate to Jessica and I enjoyed finding out more about her relationship with her sister. I must admit that I guessed one of the major plot twists early on, but the other twists more than made up for it.

Dead Woman Walking is fast paced, haunting and will keep you guessing until the very end. I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to read Bolton’s next book!
